Refund policy
At Ruka Ceramics, each piece is handmade, hand-painted and packed with care. As ceramics are fragile and each piece is one of a kind, please read our return policy before placing an order.
Returns
For ready-to-ship pieces, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged and returned in its original protective packaging.
Please contact us before sending anything back. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrives damaged or faulty. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot refund items that are lost or damaged on their way back to us.
Once the returned item has been received and checked, we will process your refund to the original payment method.
Damaged or faulty items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of:
- the damaged item
- the packaging
- the outer shipping box
We will arrange a refund, replacement where possible, or another suitable solution.
Custom and personalised pieces
Custom-made, commissioned or personalised pieces cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Handmade variations
Each Ruka Ceramics piece is individually handmade and hand-painted. Slight variations in shape, colour, glaze and details are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults.
