These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed through Ruka Ceramics.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

About Ruka Ceramics

Ruka Ceramics creates handmade, hand-painted ceramic pieces from a London studio. Each piece is individually shaped, painted and glazed by hand, making every item one of a kind.

Products

All products are handmade, so slight variations in shape, colour, glaze, size and details may occur. These differences are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults.

Product photographs and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings.

Orders and payment

All prices are shown in GBP. Payment must be completed at checkout before your order is processed.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Ruka Ceramics reserves the right to cancel an order if there is an error in pricing, stock availability or product information. If this happens, you will be refunded in full.

Shipping

Orders are packed with care to protect each ceramic piece during transit. Shipping times and costs are shown at checkout.

Please make sure your delivery address is correct before placing an order. Ruka Ceramics is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

International orders, VAT and customs

For orders shipped outside the UK, your parcel may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, taxes or handling fees when it arrives in your country.

These charges are set by your local customs authority or courier and are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless clearly stated at checkout.

Ruka Ceramics is not responsible for customs charges, import duties, taxes or delays caused by customs processing.

Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.

Please read the policy before placing an order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Damaged items

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item, packaging and outer shipping box.

We will review the issue and arrange a refund, replacement where possible, or another suitable solution.

Care and use

Please follow the care instructions provided on each product page. Handmade ceramics are durable but should still be handled with care.

Unless stated otherwise, pieces should not be used in the oven, microwave or over direct heat.

Intellectual property

All designs, images, illustrations, product names, text and artwork on this website belong to Ruka Ceramics and may not be copied, reproduced or used without permission.

Liability

Ruka Ceramics is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accidental breakage after delivery, improper care or failure to follow product care instructions.

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.
