A hand-built and hand-painted ceramic vessel inspired by ancient cosmologies, the elemental force of nature, and the idea of moving with what cannot be controlled.

Across different ancient beliefs, the bull appears as a symbol of immense natural and cosmic power. In some traditions, it is connected to the structure of the universe and the four directions; its symbolism also reaches across the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. This idea is reflected in the vessel’s four sculptural handles, each representing one of these elemental forces.

On the body of the vessel, a female figure moves above the bull. Rather than trying to tame or direct its energy, she gives herself to its movement. She becomes a symbol of surrender not as passivity, but as trust - flowing with forces greater than ourselves instead of trying to hold them still.

Hand-painted iris flowers and delicate botanical details grow around the scene, bringing softness and life to the vessel’s more powerful symbolism.

Each piece is individually shaped, sculpted, drawn, and painted by hand in my London studio, making it entirely one of a kind.

Created as a reflection on nature’s uncontrollable energy, the four elements, and the freedom found in moving with rather than against it.
